Roman Brogli-SacherRoman Brogli-Sacher

Chief Conductor and Opera Direktor of the Philharmonic Orchestra and the Theatre Lübeck Germany.

The Conductor Roman Brogli-Sacher was born in 1966 in Switzerland. Since 2001 he is Music Director in Lübeck. From 1997-2001 he was First Kapellmeister and Deputy of the Music Director at the opera house in Halle/ Saale. He started his career in 1986 in St. Gallen/Switzerland as principal trombonist and subsequently was many years assistant conducto under John Neschling. At the same time he was annually a few months a year on tour in Europe as the Music Director of the theatre “Stagione d'opera Italiana”. He completed his music studies as music teacher, trombonist and conductor at the music universitis of Vienna, Zürich, Bern and Luzern. Until now Roman Brogli-Sacher has conducted approximately 70 operas in different opera houses, and as guest conductor in concert has conducted around 50 orchestras worldwide.

The most importand being: the Bayerische Rundfunk, Berlin Symfony Orchestra,

Opera Orchestras of Stuttgart and Hannover, Rom Symfony Orchestra , Orchestra “de la Suisse Romande”, Teatro Massimo Palermo, Symfony Orchesta Porto (Portugal) and San Paolo (Brasil). His recordings include: Bayerische Rundfunk - “ Sinfonie for Jazz and Symfony Orchestra by Rolf Liebermann.
